A different world

Watching films is one of the things I like to do most. It can take you to all kinds of worlds, a magical one (Harry Potter), a pirate one (Pirates of the Caribbean), a romantic one (Love Actually) etc. It can make you appreciate what you've got, show someone in a similar situation to your own and much more. The possibilities are endless.

I have a 'Pathé Unlimited' pass, which allows me to go to the movies (at Pathé cinemas) whenever I like, for a fixed price of €19,- a month. Last week was a personal record for me as I went to 4 films!

I was born in the 90's and I, just like many others who were born then, think that that was a great time to be born. There were amazing cartoons, children played outside, we didn't have a care in the world (except for our tamagotchi maybe) and so forth. But some of these I'll just never forget so I'd like to show you which ones.

Yesterday I discovered a site I didn't know but absolutely love! It's called Polyvore. On this site  you can compose sets of clothes, post them and look at the sets of others. But that's not all, there are 'get-the-look-of-celebrities'-posts, styling tips, what to wears and much more. 

I thought I would show you the first set I made and I hope you like it. It's an example of what I can do with the basics mentioned here. I think I will post sets like this one more often. To see from which brands the items used are and where you can purchase them, you can click on the picture.

Even though I have a lot of clothes (although I think I do know people who own a lot more of them), there are always more things I'd like to have. In this post I will zoom in on some of them.

If only..

I decided a while ago that I want to buy at least one pair of Louboutins in my life. I think that those shoes are really special and it would be great to own a pair. So this week I took a look at the webshop of Louboutin and my eye immediately fell on this pair:

Relax mode: ON

Today I went to a spa in Amsterdam with my mom. It's called Dayspa and it was great.
We arrived in the morning and immediately were welcomed into the lounge room with a cup of (delicious!) tea. After a few minutes two so-called 'Purefessionals' gave us two questionnaires to fill in so that the treatment would be perfectly adapted to how we were feeling.
After that we both went with one Purefessional to receive our first treatment. In my case this was a facial to reduce the pimples and blemishes on my face and to soothe my face. Most of it was very nice and relaxing. One or two things she did, did hurt though. O well, who wants to be beautiful..
After a little break my Spa Treatment began. It started with exfoliating my whole body with almond oil, honey and sugar. It was a bit rough, but it was doable. Then I got into a jacuzzi with water and a little bit of milk, which made the bath extremely nourishing for my skin. After I'd gotten out of the bad the Purefessional massaged my body.
Lastly, I got a hair treatment to nourish my scalp and hair.

Amsterdam

Today was a great day! I went shopping with my mom in Amsterdam. I hadn't seen the collections for spring/summer '13 yet and I have to say, I fell completely in love with them! Personally, I really love colorful clothes and these collections are full of them, mainly pastels. I wanted to show you guys the things I bought. All the items can be purchased online.
